Over time, diabetes that
is not carefully managed can lead to foot complications. You have an increased
risk of developing foot problems if you:

Have had a foot ulcer in the past
- 2. Have
nerve damage: Reduced sensation of the skin on your feet(DN).
- 3. Have
poor circulation: Narrowing of blood vessels going to the
feet(PAD).
- 4.
Have any foot deformities
If you have any of these
risk factors, particularly a previous foot ulcer, you may be at increased risk
of foot problems
